January 2009 - The remaining sections of the pipeline project are being put on hold until spring for better weather conditions.

September 2008 - Water has begun flowing through the complete pipelines to the Camden area of the water district. A slurry seal coating will be completed on Polhemus Drive by the end of the month. This is a cold mixed asphalt that produces a hard wearing surfacing for pavement preservation.

Exploratory phases for the construction of pipelines on Elk Grove Blvd. West of Elk Grove-Florin Road is currently under way.

July 2008 - Construction along Polhemus Dr. is complete, the street will be resurfaced and brought to pre-construction condition in mid-to-late July. Notices will be placed along the route prior to resurfacing.

Segment 4 along Elk Grove Florin Rd is now complete and Segment 1 along the same route will be completed mid-to-late July.

June 2008 - Verification of existing utilities has begun before construction begins on Elk Grove Blvd.

May 2008 - Construction has begun on Segment 4 of the Elk Grove Florin Rd pipeline project. This is projected to be completed mid-July.

Construction is virtually complete along Polhemus Dr. and the final segment along the alleyway is underway. This segment of the overall pipeline project will be completed on schedule.

March 2008 - Construction has begun on Polhemus Dr. at the North end of the project and is working its way South. This segment is scheduled to be done by the end of June, 2008. See a press release on the project.

January 2008 - Segment 3 on Elk Grove Florin Road was completed in January and. Segment 2 was competed in mid- February.

Fall 2007 - Initial segments of the pipeline are under construction along sections of the Elk Grove Florin Road.

This project began in Fall '07 and is scheduled to complete by the end of 2008.
