Halverson/Polhemus New Pipeline Construction
Current Status:

Update June 7 - Construction on the pipeline is complete. Final finishing of the roadways will be completed on Halverson and Polhemus on June 13th. These streets will be closed for approximately 3-4 hours to allow the new asphalt to set. Final striping will occur approximately one week later. This will successfully wrap-up this project.

Update April 19 - Construction is nearing completion on the pipeline. The North section of Elk Grove/Florin road between Halverson and Lamp Rey will be completed shortly and pressure testing will begin. Crews are adding water service (connections) from the new pipeline to homes for future hook-up along Halverson. Asphalt finishing along the entire route will begin in about three weeks.

Update March 28 - Road construction crews are completed on Mary Ellen Way and will be completed in the new few days on Polhemus. About half of Halverson has been completed and the remainder should be finished in the next 10 days. Crews will be completing construction on La Haya shortly. (Depending on weather.)

Update March 15 - During this week, construction crews will be completing construction on Elk Grove/Florin Road between Halverson and La Haya. (Depending on weather.) Next, construction begins on Halverson and La Haya.

Update March 6 - During this week, construction crews will begin construction on Elk Grove/Florin Road near Halverson and begin traveling South towards La Haya.

Update February 20 - During this week, construction crews will be "potholing" (locating and verifying the locations of existing pipelines, other utilities, etc.) along the route.
